Done!

we had to move all of the furniture and tear out all of the carpet. I think we moved the entire contents of the house at least 3 times
we painted the dining room and office.
                                          the bannister is done!
                                         new kitchen table!
(no more paint cans on the butler's pantry!)
We have been making improvements on the house since before Christmas, and today we are offically done!

Volleyball!?!

                                         (look how enthusiastic she is)
Abby's volleyball team made it to the middle school tournament this year. I know what your thinking, and the answer is "no", Abby does not play volleyball! But somehow she managed to get herself on the team and participated in the tournament. Another Saturday....

Stage One...backstage moments

                                         back stage before hip hop
                                          team prayer with Miss Renee
                                          Waiting for Moombha to go
Abby and  Amanda. Abby had pink armpit issues!
Abby had her first competition of the year last weekend. They looked awesome and took 4 high golds. Not bad for the first competition of the year! "Small World", their hip hop number, took the Entertainment Award and the studio won the "Competetive Spirit award".  Go Dance Floor!

Winter project

Warning...you may like how my bannister looks, but ask yourself first before you decide to try it...is it worth it? Painitng a bannister seemed like such a simple thing. Wrong. It is the most tedious, time consuming project we have ever taken on. Hopefully it will be worth it in the end.
                                   half (ha! not really) completed
permanent fixtures, this paint can will NEVER go away
Kinda looks finished here. Don't look too close. And look at Carson~~he is no help at all. Unless you count the dog hair "texturing" permanently affixed to the finish.
